Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Freshnaturlife.world uses cookies and similar technologies. In New Zealand, information collected through cookies can be personal information under the Privacy Act 2020. We must collect it fairly, tell you what we collect and why, and obtain your informed consent before using non-essential cookies (Information Privacy Principles 3 and 4).

2. Who is responsible

3. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use local storage (for example, key thisdomain_cookie_consent_v1) to remember your consent choices. These technologies help the site function, remember preferences, and—only with consent—support analytics or third-party embeds.

4. Cookie categories

Strictly necessarySecurity, load balancing, storing your cookie consent choiceConsent record in local storageUp to 12 monthsNot required (essential)

5. How we obtain consent

On your first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject, or Cookie settings with category toggles. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Non-essential cookies are blocked until you consent. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: use Cookie settings in the footer or banner at any time.

6. Managing preferences

  • Use our on-site Cookie settings to enable or disable Analytics and Marketing categories.
  • Delete cookies and site data through your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
  • Block third-party cookies in browser settings (may limit map embeds even after consent).

Rejecting or deleting cookies may affect site features. Essential functions and consent memory will reload when you revisit.

7. Third-party providers

When you enable Marketing cookies, Google Maps may process personal information (e.g. IP address, device data) in New Zealand and overseas. Google acts as an independent agency under its own privacy policy: Google Privacy Policy. We disclose information to Google only when you choose to load the embed, consistent with IPP 11 and IPP 12 of the Privacy Act 2020.

8. Personal information and your rights

Cookie-related data may be personal information. You may request access or correction under the Privacy Act 2020 (see our Privacy Policy). Complaints may be made to us or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (0800 803 909).

9. GDPR (EEA visitors)

Where GDPR applies, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

10. Updates

We may update this Policy when our site or providers change. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after material changes may be preceded by a renewed consent request where required.
