3. Nature of content and disclaimer
Content on the Site is general information about budget healthy eating and lifestyle habits. It is not medical, dietetic, clinical, or therapeutic advice and does not create a professional healthcare relationship. You are responsible for your own food safety and health decisions. Consult a registered health practitioner or dietitian for advice tailored to your circumstances.
Nothing on the Site is intended to mislead you about nutrition or services, in compliance with the Fair Trading Act 1986.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book paid planning sessions, or have a parent or guardian’s consent. The Site is primarily directed at users in New Zealand but may be accessed from other countries at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
- Use the Site lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt servers, scrape content at scale, or transmit malware.
- Do not reproduce, sell, or republish Site content without our written permission.
- Provide accurate information when contacting us or booking services.
- Do not use the Site to harass others or post unlawful material.
We may suspend access if you breach these Terms.
6. Planning sessions and events
Paid food planning sessions and events are subject to confirmation by email, including fees, time, format (in person or online), and scope. You agree to attend or give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule; late cancellations may incur a fee as stated at booking.
We may decline or end a session if conduct is unsafe, abusive, or outside our general education scope. Outcomes depend on your own choices; we do not promise specific results.
7. Consumer rights (New Zealand)
If you purchase services as a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), you have statutory guarantees that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill, are fit for a particular purpose you told us about, are completed within a reasonable time, and are charged at a reasonable price where price is not set. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies you have under the CGA where the Act applies.
If you believe a service did not meet a guarantee, contact us promptly so we can remedy the issue in line with the CGA and Fair Trading Act 1986.
8. Fees and payment
Prices are shown or confirmed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise. GST will be included or added where we are registered for GST and required to charge it. Payment methods and invoices are described at booking.
9. Intellectual property
Text, graphics, logos, and layout on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or services is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under the CGA, Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017, or other mandatory New Zealand law.
11. External links
Links to third-party websites (including Google Maps and the Privacy Commissioner) are for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party content or privacy practices.
12. Privacy and cookies
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy (Privacy Act 2020). Cookie use is described in the Cookie Policy.
13. Dispute resolution
Please contact us first to resolve concerns. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may refer matters to applicable dispute resolution schemes or courts in New Zealand. Consumers may also contact the Commerce Commission regarding fair trading issues.

15. Severability
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
16. Advertising and promotions (Fair Trading Act 1986)
Advertising for this Site and our sessions must be accurate and not misleading. We do not make false claims about qualifications, prices, or results. Indicative prices are confirmed in writing at booking. Report any error and we will correct it promptly.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
